A Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (branch in Katowice), where he completed his diploma project in spatial design in 1984. He obtained his doctoral degree in 2011, and teaches the Public Space Design Studio at the Faculty of Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. He represented the Academy in the Silesian Design Cluster in Cieszyn in 2012-2015. His work focuses on the design of products and spatial forms, and graphic design. He designed and produced the booths of Polish companies at the fairs in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Cologne. His industrial designs were presented at the Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Etienne, the GaLaBau public space products fair in Nuremberg, and the Milan Design Week. He was twice nominated for the Śląska Rzecz award in Cieszyn.
