A production designer, graphic designer and painter, she graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (branch in Katowice). She teaches the Scenography Studio at the AFA in Katowice Faculty of Art together with Marcel Sławiński and teaches at the Chair of Film and Television Production Design at the Faculty of Scenography of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She has shown in galleries in Katowice, Warsaw, Gliwice, Munich and London. She started her production designer career from film and television, working on the film De Aegypto directed by Jolanta Ptaszyńska. She received an art direction award for the film Torowisko at the “Młodzi i film” festival in Koszalin in 1999. Her first theatre production was Mała Steinberg directed by Krystyna Janda in 2001; since then, she has realised over 30 stage sets. She has cooperated with Magdalena and Piotr Łazarkiewicz, Magdalena Piekorz and Ingmar Villquist. Her successful cooperation with Marceli Sławiński has resulted in the 2010 Gold Mask award for their scenography for the Oliver! musical. Together, they created the production design for the Lech Majewski film The Mill and the Cross and received the art direction award at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in 2011. They also worked jointly on the Agnieszka Holland film In Darkness, for which they received the art direction award at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in 2012, and on Jesteś Bogiem directed by Leszek Dawid. One of their most important projects was the Oscar-winning Ida by Paweł Pawlikowski, recognised for its art direction in 2014.
