Born in Mikołów, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. He realised his major diploma at Prof. Kazimierz Cieślik's Painting Studio, and additional diploma at Prof. Antoni Cygan's Drawing Studio. He teaches at the school's Drawing Studio of Prof. Antoni Kowalski and at the Painting Technology Studio of Agnieszka Trzos. Grantee of the Ministry of Culture and Art in 1999, winner of merit award at the 21st Festival of Contemporary Painting in Szczecin, and of the Grand Prix in the competition of Franciszka Eibisch Foundation in Warsaw. He defended his doctoral dissertation in the field of painting in 2015. He has shown his work at 11 solo exhibitions and over 50 group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He practises mainly painting, drawing and photography.
