Born in Żywiec, he studied at the Faculty of Graphic Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (branch in Katowice). He received his diploma with medal at Prof. Jerzy Wuttke’s Product Design Studio in 2001, and obtained the degree of Doctor of Fine Arts in 2010. From 2004, he worked as an assistant teacher in the design programme at Prof. Jan Dubiel’s Drawing and Painting Studio. He became head of the Visual Arts Studio in 2015. He also teaches drawing and painting at Katowice School of Technology, and holds classes in drawing and graphic art at the Municipal Cultural Centre in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. He has authored numerous drawing and painting projects and co-authored polychromes, including in the churches in Czarny Dunajec, Woszczyce and Kędzierzyn-Koźle. In addition to his 16 solo exhibitions he has participated in more than 70 group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, and numerous plein-air workshops, competitions and the related exhibitions.
