The Most Beautiful Book of the Year
Awards and honourable mentions for AFAD Katowice teachers and alumni
During the 11th Book Fair in Warsaw the Polish Association of Book Publishers presented awards and honourable mentions in the 61st competition titled The Most Beautiful Book of the Year (2020).
Our teachers won three honourable mentions in the Academic and Popular Science Books (Humanities) category for the design of books published by the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Katowice:

The main award in this category was presented to our alumna Marta Gawin for 2 books:
Kronika Parkowa. 70 ciekawostek na 70-lecie Parku Śląskiego (published by Wojewódzki Park Kultury i Wypoczynku im. Gen. Jerzego Ziętka, Chorzów)
and
Obrazy zmieniającego się świata. Fotografie Górnego Śląska (published by Instytucja Kultury Ars Cameralis Silesiae Superiors, Katowice).
An honourable mention went to our alumna Nikola Kucharska for Fakty i plotki o smokach published by Nasza Księgarnia, Warsaw.
Honourable mentions were also won by our partner printing houses.
