The drawing studio exists since 2005. Its main idea is openness to new ways of interpretation, both in terms of technique and the understanding of the issue of drawing. The curriculum is open, shaped by the personalities, inventiveness and predispositions of students. One of the basic assumptions is a search through drawing for a variety of expression, developing creativity and interpretation skills. Drawing as an art term is understood broadly (freedom of technique, means, tools, and materials used), including interesting experiences drawn from various inspiration sources, which may have a hidden drawing potential. All this technical variety is supposed to support students in their individual work, creative choices, exploration of new paths, sometimes making them alter their habits.
Another assumption is to create working conditions for those who are searching for inspiration in topics they choose themselves, independently of the studio arrangements. Drawing is supposed to be a way leading to the discovery of individual forms of expression.
