Born in 1956, he studied at the Faculty of Graphic Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (branch in Katowice) in 1978-1983, obtaining his diploma with distinction at Prof. Tomasz Jura’s Graphic Design Studio and Prof. Jan Szmatloch’s Printmaking Studio. He was a grantee of the Minister of Culture and Art. He has been teaching at the AFA Katowice since graduating, and became a Professor in 2008. He teaches the Animation and Video Games Studio at the Chair of Graphic Design. Head of the Chair of Graphic Design and Multimedia from 2005, and Head of the newly-created Chair of Multimedia since 2016. His body of work includes prints, illustrations, posters and paintings. He also develops advertising and multimedia projects, as well as animations. His works are featured in private and museum collections worldwide.
