Born in 1975, he graduated from the secondary school of fine arts in Opole and studied at the Academy of Fine arts in Kraków (branch in Katowice) in 1995-2000. He has worked at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice since 2005. Taking part in the Erasmus programme, he conducted drawing workshops at the Bauhaus-Universität in Weimar (Germany) in 2010 and 2012, and at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Brunswick (Germany) in 2016. Board member of the Katowice chapter of the ZPAP Association of Polish Artists and Designers since 2007. Creating drawings and paintings, he has authored 42 solo exhibitions and taken part in over 100 group exhibitions.
