Born in Gliwice in 1965, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (branch in Katowice) in 1990, completing her diploma project in graphic design at Prof. Tomasz Jura’s studio. She has been working at the school’s Chair of Visual Communication since 2005 and became its Head in 2012. A Professor of the AFA, she teaches the Visual Identity Studio for first-cycle students and Visual Communication Studio for second-cycle students. Her publications on visual communication include Corporate Design, czyli jak sprawić, by estetyka pracowała na sukces firmy and Estetyka w typografii wobec postulatu czytelności. A graphic designer, she has authored the series of publications on design titled Biuletyn Sztuki Projektowania, issued by the AFA Katowice.
