Born in 1970, she lives in Mysłowice. She studied at the Faculty of Graphic Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (branch in Katowice), graduating with distinction at Prof. A. Romaniuk’s Lithography Techniques Studio and Prof. J. Rykała’s Painting Studio. She also studied at the Faculty of Textile Art and Fashion Design of the Strzemiński Academy of Art Łódź, ,obtaining her MA diploma at Prof. A. Pukaczewska’a Fashion Design Studio. Katarzyna Dziuba was awarded the degree of Doctor of Fine Arts in 2009. She has taught at the AFA Katowice since 2001: at the Non-Traditional Techniques Studio, Digital Techniques Studio, and currently at the Digital Print Studio, where she teaches the fundamentals of digital print for first-year students. In 2013, she started working at the Visual Arts Institute, Faculty of Arts, of the University of Zielona Góra, where she teaches the Digital Print and Spatial Graphics Studio, and heads the Department of Graphics. She is an active participant of graphic art contests and festivals in Poland and abroad (180 group exhibitions); the recognition of her work includes two Toshihiro Hamano Awards (International Print Triennial, Kraków 2009, and Utazu Art Award, Japan 2016). She has shown several solo exhibitions. Her main medium is digital print.
