Born in 1955, he graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (branch in Katowice). He has been working at the school since 1983. A Professor of fine arts, he teaches the Multimedia Studio at the Faculty of Design of the AFA Katowice. Animator of cultural events intended to promote the Silesian art & design community. His posters, editorial designs and prints have been presented at several dozen group and solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He has run the M-Studio graphic studio since 1991. His interests encompass diverse aspects of contemporary visual culture (art and design): prints, posters, ephemera, books, music album covers, visual information systems, photography, experimental film and multimedia. His printmaking techniques include digital print and sarigraphy, he also practises calligraphy. His creative activities in the cyberspace provide a platform for a dialogue in interdisciplinary teams.
