Born in Tarnów in 1952. He studied at the Faculty of Graphic Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (branch in Katowice), graduating in 1976. Since then, he has practised printmaking and graphic design, and teaching at the Chair of Printmaking at the AFA in Katowice. Author of 22 solo exhibitions and participant of over 180 exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Winner of 10 awards and distinctions.
