The aim of education in the Social Communication Studio is to prepare students for cooperation with the recipient (users, specialists from other fields, institutions, organizations, local governments, industry, and customers).
Direct collaboration with the user enables students to gain knowledge of the complex process of service design, in which the designer is one of the links in the creative chain, working closely with an entire team of people.
Designing is done in real-world conditions, involving fieldwork and collaboration with users (“community is expert”), where the key point is defining needs and identifying solutions with a particular focus on public benefit and increasing social activity.
