AFA Katowice designers at Dutch Design Week
28 young designers present their visions for an intelligent, aesthetic and responsible improvement of the world
The exhibition was organized by the Academic Design Center, an association of the faculties of design of eight Polish state universities of fine arts. The main goal of ADC is to initiate cooperation between science and the business environment through joint development projects and design research. It also aims to promote Polish schools of design and their creations, as well as the Polish industry. The vision of ADC is to become a platform for joining the potential of research and teaching, thus contributing to making design study programmes at Polish artistic schools more competitive attractive.
The participating schools are: Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Art in Łódź, University of the Arts in Poznan, Academy of Art in Szczecin, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław.
