‘The design process took almost a year. During that time, we came up with 100 different ideas,’ says Andrzej Klisz.

One of the challenges was to select the right material. Finally, the designers decided to use integrally coloured MDF. Its production is environment-friendly, and thanks to the colouring method the IKI panels are coloured homogeneously on both sides. In addition, the material texture gives the openwork panels their own distinctive texture, beautifully accentuated by light.
