Inter-university Inauguration of the 2022/2023 Academic Year in Katowice City of Science
Awarding Katowice the title of the 2024 European City of Science was one of key events of the previous academic year.
The ceremony of joint inauguration of the 2022/2023 academic year will begin on 30 September 2022 at 10:00, at the concert hall of the National Symphonic Orchestra of the Polish Radio. It will be preceded by an academic procession in the streets of Katowice, and finalised by a concert performed by the National Symphonic Orchestra of the Polish Radio.
Awarding Katowice the title of the 2024 European City of Science was one of key events of the previous academic year. It is the first time that a Polish academic city accepts this prestigious role conferred the EuroScience association.
