Intertwining

‘Corporality is at the basis of the experience and cognition of every living being. Psyche, soma and polis, the balance of which (or lack of it) affects our well-being, are the pillars of health in the physical dimension, but also in its mental and social aspects,’ write Julia Maniura and Julia Gaj.
‘The students' works touch on the problem of corporeality, while they reflect not only on the aspects of human functioning, but reach further – into the animal world, which is enigmatic for us in many ways. The techniques implemented by the artists are as varied as the ways of perceiving and interpreting the problem that can be viewed in light of one’s own experience.’
