Off balance: opening at Koszarowa st. building
The exhibition is part of a joint project by students of AFA Katowice Digital Print Studio and AFA Warsaw Conceptual and Intermedia Graphics Studio.
The topic was derived from the exhibition presented at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art.
The goal of the joint project was to respond to the given topic and organize an exhibition of the works of students of the Katowice and Warsaw art universities. They have attempted to place visual arts in diverse contexts by confronting them with different artistic attitudes, and also by interdisciplinary activities utilizing a wide range of genres, techniques and methods of artistic presentation. The interpretations of the topic touch on the curren t problems of culture, society, economy, visual culture or existential issues.
