Open lecture on curator practices to promote ROZBIEG 2.0 programme

Kamil Kuitkowski - curator, coordinator of exhibitions and other artistic events. A painting graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, he ultimately abandoned the path of his own artistic work in favour of creating exhibitions and working with artists. Curator of group and solo exhibitions, author and curator of the "Cloakroom" exhibition programme at Cricoteka, long-time curator and coordinator of exhibitions and activities of the Razem Pamoja Foundation in Poland and Kenya. Currently, apart from his work at Cricoteka, he regularly cooperates with private and independent galleries and art spaces. He lives and works in Krakow.
What is Rozbieg?
Organized by the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Katowice, the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and BWA in Tarnów, a three-day series of meetings between young artists from the Upper Silesia and Lesser Poland regions with curators and gallerists active on the national and international scene. Its aim is to initiate long-term promotion of the art of the young generation based on a network of contacts valuable for future cooperation.
