Passage Through Time - Ingrid Ledent
Ingrid Ledent is a frequently awarded Belgian artist (she received, among others: Grand Prix at International Triennial of Graphic Arts, Prague 2001 and Grand Prix at International Print Triennial 2006, Cracow 2006). She has become a master of lithography and combines it with digital print, video works and installations.
Ingrid Ledent’s works were presented on 15th March. A day after, together with Professor Józef Budka, the Katowice ASP teacher, she conducted lithographic workshops.
The artist was born in 1955. In 1973-1978 she studied graphic arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. She perfected her skills at Rudolf Broulim’s studio in Prague. Since 1984 she has worked as professor at her home university. She conducts workshops in lithography all around the world, including: Finland, Spain, Poland, Estonia, the USA and China. The exhibition was held at studio 301 in the building at Raciborska 50.
