Taiwan International Student Design Competition: honourable mention for our Design student
The Shoodi design has won an honourable mention in one of the world’s biggest design competitions for students.
The competition is organized by Taiwan’s Ministry of National Education. This year saw its 12th edition, with empathy as the leading theme.
21,988 designs were submitted in 4 categories. The works came from 810 schools in 66 countries.
The Product Design category had 4,608 entries. 150 were qualified for the final, and 13 won awards.
One of the awardees is Maja Słowikowska, 3rd-year student of the AFA in Katowice. Her design was developed in the Ergonomic Design Studio taught by Katarzyna Pełka-Bura and Agnieszka Fujak.
