The story of wool: open lecture
A familiar material but its story can be fascinating, especially as told by Józef Michałek.
Józef Michałek is a Polish highlander and practitioner, closely cooperating with sheep farms in the Carpathian mountains. An expert on the shepherding and highlander culture, he has been the coordinator of the “Owca Plus” programme in the Beskids mountains since 2008, co-organiser the 2013 Redyk Karpacki (shepherding festival) and other local community events.
