Universal, inclusive: how to design accessible solutions - training session for university teachers
The Faculty of Design is commencing a project entitled Universal Design as the Basis for Design Curricula of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Katowice - a programme for the training of teaching staff, which includes a number of training courses and activities aimed at improving the competencies of academic teachers.
The result of the project will be the modernisation of the curricula in the fields of graphic design and design at Bachelor's and Master's programme level. The curricula will take into account the needs of the recipients in the student projects, and the proposed training will make it possible to include people with special needs or disabilities.
The first training session will take place from 7 to 10 March 2022 at the Academy.
