Weekend Academy: semester wrap-up
Friendly atmosphere, show opening and certificates. The participants of Weekend Academy have met to summarize several months of their work.
AFA Katowice is a school that educates professionals but also helps artists who do not have such aspirations. The programme of AFA’s Weekend Academy is aimed at those who always wanted to develop their artistic skills but for some reasons could not or would not do it in the framework of a regular study programme. The Weekend Academy invites them to practice together at the AFA studios under the instructions of the lecturers. The participants paint, draw, make prints and design. In addition to the practical training they also receive a theoretical introduction into problems of the history of art, philosophy and aesthetics.
