Industrial designer specialising in ergonomic design. A graduate of the Faculty of Industrial Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, he obtained his Master’s diploma in 1980 under the supervision of Prof. Adam Gedliczka. He obtained the degree of Doctor of Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2003, followed by the degree of associate professor (dr hab.) in the area of design in 2015. He has been teaching the Ergonomic Design Studio and co-teaching Social Communication Studio in the Design programme of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice since 1988. Vice-Dean of the AFA Katowice Faculty of Design in 2008-2012, member of the Design Silesia project team in 2010-2011 and expert for the Design Silesia II project in 2011-2012, member of the Silesian Innovation Council of the Marshal Office of the Silesian Voivodship since April 2009, member of the expert team of the Silesia Castle of Art and Enterprise in Cieszyn (currently Zamek Cieszyn). He collaborated with the 2+3D magazine in 2001-2016. He has worked in industrial design since 1980.
