Design graduate from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. In 2008, she defended her doctoral project titled Projekt koncepcji organizowania i porządkowania grup komunikatów wizualnych za pomocą barwy. Studia nad zastosowaniem barwy w komunikatach wizualnych przestrzeni miejskiej (Using colour to organise and systematise visual communication. Study of the use of colour in visual communication in city space), and obtained her associate professor (dr hab.) degree in 2015. At the AFA Katowice, she teaches colour design and Design Fundamentals Studio (together with Prof. Manuel Sabalczyk). She focuses her work on information and identity design, and conducts research on the intelligibility of visual communication, and parametrisation of colours. She is convinced that well-organised team work yields much better results and provides greater satisfaction than individual projects. Therefore, she frequently works in joint research projects, cooperating with other artists or experts from different fields. She believes that a good design focuses on identifying a real problem or need, and providing the solutions.
