The principle of the studio is to familiarize students with the basic knowledge about a conscious use of artistic means and to stimulate inquisitive, analytical attitudes that lead to discussion on broadly defined art. In addition, the studio aims at identifying and exploring the creative abilities of students, pointing out the means of expression used to translate thought into a perceptible quality, and appreciating the role of the message in the creative process. Practical goals focus on the development of students’ art skills by familiarizing them with the basics of painting, drawing, design, sculpture, and photography. They point out that the key element of artistic activity is the idea, and the means of expression are treated as its carriers.
