Design na BezTydzień – 2018 workshop week at the Faculty of Design of AFA Katowice
‘We care for ourselves, we care for each other’ is the theme of the workshops and lectures on product and service design, visual communication and multimedia. This year’s workshop week comprises more than 30 events over 4 days. Participation is open for design students from all universities. The festival is organised by the Faculty of Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice.
The goal of the event is to improve and extend the students’ competences, and to exchange good practices in interaction with Polish and foreign experts, academics, and representatives of design studios and companies.

Apply by e-mail to the coordinators of individual workshops.
AFA Katowice students are accepted on a first-come first-served basis. Students of other universities are requested to send their portfolios.
Eligible students:
Faculty of Design:
Obligatory workshops have been scheduled from 12 to 16 November 2018 for first-year students of first-cycle studies in design and graphic design.
First-cycle students in years 2-4 and second-cycle students must take part in at least 3 workshop days (e. g. a 3-day workshop, or three 1-day workshops, or a 2-day workshop and a 1-day workshop).
Faculty of Art:
Students in year 4 and 5 may take part in chosen workshops:

Komunikacja bez przemocy w feedbacku,
Scrum jako sposób na zwinną budowę produktu,
Prototyp. Szybkie budowania produktu cyfrowego.
Students of other universities may apply for individual workshops (max. 3 persons) by sending their portfolios to the coordinator.
